Djurdja Vukelic Rozic - Three Questions

Djurdja Vukelic Rozic was born in 1956 and lives in Ivanic Grad, Croatia. She writes and translates haiku and is the editor-in-chief of IRIS, a bilingual haiku magazine. She is founder of The International Haiku Meeting and the English haiku contest in Klostar Ivanic, Croatia. Besides haiku, she publishes poetry and humorous sketches. Rozic feels that her kuyus (haiku friends) enrich her life.

1) Why do you write haiku?

After I met haiku poetry, not only can I not imagine my life without it, but so many things in my life before formally knowing it, was the way of haiku.


2) What other poetic forms do you enjoy?

I enjoy lyrics very much and do some writing, as well.
